In Australia, EV owners are required to own EV charging cords. Chargers can be classified into two categories: Type 1 to Type 2 and Type 2 to Type 2 cables. These are available in three different cable lengths: five, seven, and ten metres.
Type 2 (Mennekes) cables are the most widely used type in Australia and are compatible with all charging stations.

An idyllic location to charge my new EV while eating lunch next to a lake. The new EV Power Labs 7kW charge cable is solid and robust and feels like it's a great product. It can certainly handle the current load. When I've finished lunch, I can walk back to the charge station and quickly connect the fast DC 120kW charger to finish filling up in 30 minutes! The cable was delivered to my door in rural SA within 3 days. Great service.
